Obviously you have not heard of efnet, IRC, mixmaster, or ip strippers, and anonymous re-mailers. Don't belive everything you hear from the MPAA and the RIAA. The RIAA has sucessfully sued a handful of college kids and a bunch of kids swapping a few mp3 files. I won't give a moral judgement on it. The impact it has on movie ticket prices is negligible, less than 1/2 of 1% from what I read on some of the geek sites. Try looking at the salaries of the overpaid hollywood primadonnas who think they have something to say about politics from their pampered little points of view. Piracy is the inevitable backlash borne of all the hyped up clap trap called movies/music/games/software. I don't know about you pal, but I'm sick and tired of paying 40.00 to 70.00 bucks for games for my kids that promise to be the second coming and then don't deliver. Hell I get more enjoyment and satisfaction out of the dollar menu at Wendy's. Case in point; The movie "The Recruit". Ticket price $8.00 X 4 people. Popcorn and assorted drinks another 12.00 X 4. What do you get? A friggin movie taking advantage of the patriotic fervor of the country at the time, without even the decency to hire a military advisor to get the technical details right. Never mind the so called stars couldn't even cut their hair short enough to pass anywhere close to the style worn by 100% of the military. And that my friend was one among many. I don't feel sorry for Hollywood one iota. They made their bed, let them lie in it.

He he, great point and I do understand. Yes, the movie people do get paid very well and I know it's a ploy to even make more money. Why do you think they always choose to do the attacks when the holidays start up? It's tactic to put a scare into you and the world to stop just for a little while, so they can sqeeze a few more dollars out of you. File sharers that have gigs and gigs of illlegal files on their comps and never buy shit, those are the ones I do not like. The prices are high becasue of file sharers. Who gives a shit how much they get paid. They give us entertainment. No one told you to buy the pop-corn.

At 8 bucks a tickets isn't to bad to go watch a good film. It's much less than a stripper for 1 minute lap dance , but for some reason I'm not complaining about the 20 bucks I just gave a hottie for one funky minute.

And don' t think just becuase you are on a proxy or IRC or IP deverters or whatever you are using ...they do not work as well as you think or is 100%. You use windows? I can find you. But the chances that you will get in any trouble are slim. They can only get a handful, but that's all you need. But who cares, there will never be a way to stop file sharing any time soon. You are right though it sucks paying theses high prices, but you can always buy used games. Whatever work you do I don't think you would like it if people pirated your work and just give it away for free, just because it costs to much. Do you have a website that you worked hard on?
